About the Project

UNI-Link is an innovative mobile app designed to address a major challenge in universities—a communication and networking gap among skilled students across different departments. The project was created during the Standup Hackathon 2025 by Team 3 IDIOT, with a mission to foster seamless collaboration and team-building opportunities within the university ecosystem.

The Problem

Despite the abundance of talent in universities, students often struggle to connect with peers who have complementary skills. A real-world case during the NASA Space App Challenge highlighted this issue, where a winning team struggled to find a backend developer from within the university. Many skilled individuals remain unnoticed due to the absence of a centralized talent platform, leading to missed opportunities and fragmented collaboration.

Our Solution – UNI-Link

UNI-Link is a cross-platform mobile app that connects students based on their skills and interests. It offers:
