🚨 Problem Statement

At Daffodil International University (DIU), a significant networking and communication gap exists among students from different departments. Many talented students remain unaware of others with complementary skills, leading to missed opportunities for collaboration, team formation, and innovation.

For example, during the NASA Space Apps Challenge, Team EcoRangers struggled for days to find a backend developer — even though several capable students existed within the same university. The issue wasn’t a lack of talent, but a lack of connection.

This disconnect leads to – 

  • Students feeling isolated or demotivated.
  • Talents going unrecognized and underutilized.
  • Fewer cross-disciplinary teams forming for research, competitions, or startups.

🌟 Our Solution – DIU-Link

DIU-Link is a proposed mobile application aimed at creating a centralized talent and collaboration hub for DIU students. It connects individuals across departments based on skill sets, interests, and availability — enabling smarter, faster, and more productive collaboration.

    Upload your project portfolio. Top projects are highlighted weekly for exposure.

    Faculty can connect with skilled students, and admins ensure the platform remains safe and functional.
